WARNING: sad post.
We suddenly lost one of our dogs at the end of June. We found him not breathing - his body felt unnatural and limp as I carried him to the car,  and I urged him to hold on a bit longer as I raced to the vet. He was probably gone before I even got him to the car. 
Photo 1 is post cremation, taking his ashes in their little box back home, his last car ride. Photo 2 is his dish, still as he left it.
Funny how these two photos can bring all that emotion back, almost 2 months later. I’m glad I took them.
